Every session that you have, you should make progress.  Every workout that you do should feel progress.  In order to guarantee results, I rely on three very simple and measurable quantifiers: volume, density, and intensity.  Volume is where all new trainees begin.  Density is where all trainees end up.  The intensity goes up in proportion to the volume of work done, and the density increases as more work is done in less time.  If you start out only being capable of doing 2 sets of 5 reps of clean and press and in 5 weeks you are capable of doing 10 sets of 5 reps of clean and press then you have made a 500% increase in your capabilities.  If you then over the next five weeks convert those 10 sets of 5 reps to 1 set of 50 then you have, yet again made a drastic increase in what you are capable of.  Progress should be simple to define and simple to see.


1-5 sessions:  $125/50 min period

1-9 sessions:  $100/ 50 min period

10-19 sessions:  $95/50 min period

20 to 20+ sessions:  $85/50 min period
